Do companies have to meet certain race ratios set by the U.S. government?

I was talking to my friend and he told me that the government places certain race ratios on companies that they have to meet. Like they have to have at least 1/2 as many black people employed as white people or something. At a company such as McDonald's for example. Is this true? I've never heard of it. Isn't affirmative action like that unconstitutional? Any explanation would be great. Even better if you can provide some sort of source. I'll come back and vote best answer. Thanks ahead of time for any help :)
