Christianity and India ?

I was regarding Roman History and I was surprised how Christianity took over the nation and undermined Rome. Romans ware fighting for their survival at that time well in the end it was not successful. Considering the number of conversion in India, will Hindus and Muslims loose their place. I don’t know but it is a scary thought. What do you think?
