Did anyone think it was strange Macaulay Culkin spoke about John Hughs death but not michael jacksons?

Yep, strange indeed. Actually, I'm also looking for Mac's words for his dead friend MJ, but can't find one. I saw him in the 30th Anniversary show of Michael, sitting beside Elizabeth Taylor... so I presumed that they were still friends before Michael died.
