How many of you think the affirmative action is a good idea?

I was watching the news and noticed the story on those fire fighters...There was 15 positions for promotion and 14 Caucasians and one hispanic scored the highest but denied promotion because the city thought it may appear wrong. Is that not reverse racism because the are white they can't have the job not to mention they scored higher. Hard work and dedication means nothing anymore. Do hispanic people get affirmative action? In my eyes this the worst thing I have ever heard of in my life competency, intelligence and dedication is replaced with someone who may not even be qualified. What a shame .......WORK HARDER
