What do you think of the first part of this story?

Sounds like a cool start. If you really are 12 years old, then I really can't fault you too much on this, but: your sentences are pretty choppy. You might want to try to lengthen them out with some good descriptive language. You know, adjectives and stuff :) But, yeah, good start.
